As I’m watching the news this morning, there is a gentlemen on speaking about our education and of course in his views what our future looks like. Who are our children competing with when it comes to preparing them for the future. He brought up how he was in South Korea when the Olympics were being held there. He happened to look out his hotel window at 5:30 in the morning and notices a significant amount of children in the school courtyard with flashlights, heads in the books! Is that not AMAZING??

I’m not disapproving of our teachers we have here in the U.S. by any means. They are not the ones who create the “standards” of our curriculum. What I am simply saying is that although I am not Korean, I am Chinese and I am very proud of it. I was taught at a very young age the value of having a strong work ethic. No matter what you are striving for, the core values that you are taught from the beginning will stick with you in the future! My father being chinese and a very traditional chinese man did NOTHING but WORK til at least a few weeks before passing! ALL of our family time took place at our business. He instilled a very strong work ethic into all three of us kids, to be strong minded individuals, and to have STRICT discipline! Every culture has their own traditions and values. That is the beauty of our world! However, I am forever grateful and proud to be chinese simply because of the way I was raised!

Although I love and appreciate the growing LIKES on my page…..its not about the LIKES for me. I essentially enjoy seeing the LIKES because I just want to spread some positive energy your way! The past few days was filled with negativity. That is 100% my fault and I truly apologize!

I only want my fans to know who I am as a person. I think each of one us is special in our own way and I think it needs to be embraced instead of looked down upon. With that said..Its not about the LIKES….its about spreading positive energy and my message for everyone is to be yourself and not anyone else! I wish I could invite ALL of you to come spend a day with me…I said that to my soon-to-be sister-in-law this past week. :) She agreed :)
